Introduction to Substrate and Subfloor Inspector


The 3day ISSI pre-requisite for the hard surface inspector program course (third day exam) and manual will provide you knowledge of most substrate and subfloors including concrete, wood and other underlayment commonly used in the floor covering industry. This course covers; components of a floor system, causes of failure and imperfections, subfloor/substrate construction, adhesives, leveling and patching, the affects of moisture, alkalinity and humidity, industry standards and publications.
